hahaha dial-up sux? No kidding. Anyhow, if you are looking to improve your internet connection, and you think it's your computer's fault, then check out http://www.speedguide.net/ for all your TCP/IP tweaking goodness. If these tweaks don't help, then you are SOL, and better contact your cable company (ISP) and complain to them about it.

Just get the ones pertained to your OS, or visit the XP site mentioned earlier in this thread. You'll find the Win9x tweaks to be the most to benefit.
