My cable bill went up *again*

Since AT&T took over the local cable here monthly rates have risen $3 in two months. Good to see corporate greed is still alive and well. AT&T jerks me off with long distance as well. One thing's for certain: this is suck!

Just get together with your neighbor and share a cable. This will cut the bill in half. If they raise the rates again, but keep sharing. Of course make sure you read your contract and don't break any laws.

AT&T "broadband" services...minus the broadband part is what dominates...err I mean operates in my hometown.

I signed up for cable for three months. I paid about $58 for 45 crap "basic" stations and for HBO and cinemax. I told them to go to hell after 3 months of paying for that very, very limited service. They don't even have comedy central! CC is about the best basic cable station there is.

Where I used to live, $58 a month used to get me two digital cable boxes, and every single premium station there is!

For 1/12 of the premiums, and 100 less basic stations than before, I said screw it!

AT&T blows.

I've got AT&T as well. Terrible! They've got no Comedy Central or Sci-fi! What kind of cable company is this?! Argg.... cable monopolies suck.

Got AT&T here, formerly MediaOne. Bill hasn't risen, and I get about 73 channels. Comedy Central and SPEEDVISION included. A few pennies over $35/month.

I paying the equivalent of $20 US for basic cable and some extras like TLC, TSN, all in all about 40 channels.
