this is the first one... i had to pencil unlock it.. but it's purring @900@1.8 next comes 950:)

even if this one doesn't do 950... i still have another to try!!:D

Have you been getting unlocked Durons from Buy.com, I asked this question a while back and myself and one other person where the only ones to say they received an unlocked Duron from them.

e-phex- Lucky bastard! :D My friend has a Duron 600, but it's on MSI's Socket-A mobo, so he can't change the multiplier. I hope they release a new BIOS or something in the near future.

Geekish thoughts...sure he can. Just find that chart in the article here at anandtech or at tom's hardware explaining which golden bridges on the CPU to open and close to overclock. A diamond tipped scribe can open up those bridges pretty easily...maybe Home Depot has 'em? If not I can sift through my links to find that place that does. :p

i'd assume all the duron 600s are unlocked since, AMD discontinued them, and probably did before they started the locking
