After sitting on a crappy chair whose cushion has completely worn out over the past year, I went through some classifieds and bought a new executive leather chair for $50.

I apologize to anyone who thought there'd be other types of pictures ;)

To better express my feelings on this topic I have composed the following haiku:

Pictures of your ass
Make the baby jesus cry.
Leather chairs are cool.

Thank you.

LOL, I have one of those chairs. It looks just like the OD one for $50. I don't like it. I'm going to burn it or something, and get a nicer one later this summer if I get a job. Otherwise, I'll get a beanbag chair and troll in style.

It is an anti-ergonomic chair. It is meant for sitting back, not for sitting up straight in front of a PC. You'll know what I'm talking about after some butt pain.

I have the same one, it sucks for working in front of a PC.

I spent $1000 on the Herman Miller Aeron, and it was one of the best money i ever spent. I no longer get shoulder or back pain. And unlike my other executive office chairs that normally last only a couple of years due to the leather, i'm sure this will last 5+ years easily.

Actually I hate my $15 "executive leather" chair from OD (the Furniture at Work Cortina model). I'm a lightweight, and after 5 months of regular use, the cushion is very flat and uncomfortable. The leather seat has also started to tear near the seams, and the overall build quality is marginal at best.

Sure it's only $15 so I'm not surprised, but that would have been better spent towards a quality chair.

I have one too and it is easily the best office chair I have ever owned. I think it'll go beyond 5 years too as they come with a 12 year warranty from the factory.
