My built TIVO PC: win2k or win xp?

i have win2k installed, works great and is fast too. But i just feel like its not multimedia enough. watcha think.

I'm running a athlon 1600xp with 512mb in an nforce2 mb with 100gig wd 8meg se

What do you mean by "not multimedia enough"?



XP won't add much to the table from win2k. Media player 8 (though 9 is out) is the only multimedia program in winxp that pops in my head when comparing win2k and xp.



I guess the camera and scanner wizard in xp adds to its "multimedianess"

I like the Autorun features of Windows XP, it will check the contents of a cd/dvd, and will open whatever program you want it to, so say you put a CDR full of MPG files, it can open WMP and play them.

I don't think 2k can do that
