Motherboard:
ABIT IC7-Max3, Intel 875P chipset for Socket 478 800MHz Canterwood ATX motherboard
Ram:
CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 1GB(2 x 512MB) 2x(64MX64) TWINX1024-3200C2
CPU:
P4 2.8CGHz 800MHz FSB/ 512K R.B
Harddrive:
120 gig 7200RPM WD 8M (140 can)
Case + power supply:
Thermaltake Xaser III V2420AU (Aluminum) 420W w/ window
CD-ROMs
BENQ 56X R.B
LG COMBO 48X24X48CDRW/16X DVD OEM
Videocard
9800XT
Now the issue I'm having, is deciding if I should overclock. If I decide not to (Which will probably be the case) Is this system still worth it? Or can I build something faster using a different mobo?
I like the case so I aint changing that 🙂 Also ive decided upon 1 gig of ram for sure. But Ive read that the max3 is good for overclocking, and non.
Any other suggestions/ideas?
