My Buddies are trying to Convince me to Play WoW

They want me to play, i kinda want to play... but im afriad ill get addicted and spend massive amounts of time on there

edit: Let me know if you have tried the game when you vote. I want to know from all the ones saying 'don't play' if it's because of experience w/ the game, or just not wanting me to get into such a major wast of time.

My girlfriend's trying the same thing with Final Fantasy 11. I just wanna play CS:S! 😛

Anyway, 99% of people on here will say "play".

Don't play, the devs never talk to the community and are slow to respond to just about anything. There are better games both in content and in dev-player relations.

my plan was to borrow the disc from a friend that wasn't playing anymore, and pay the $15 and play for a month. I could see myself possibly getting addicted, but I have grown very impatient with games over the past year or so and the game looks like it's fairly slow moving so I could tire of it very quickly
