my browser suddenly does not show any pictures

Since yesterday, my daughter was having problems getting picture in Google image search. Her first search would show up, then everyone after that .....no pics. Today, I can't get any pictures to show at all. Have i inadvertedly fubu'd my browser settings or something? what can I check or do to correct this problem?

Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and make sure "Show pictures" is checked

EDIT: I assume that you are using IE

In IE - got to "tools" -> options -> advanced tab -> scroll down and look to see if "show pictures" is checked.

Ok here's the poop. I reboot ......start Google image search. I can search for any image under the sun and they come up but as soon as I try antibes, the page doesn't load all the way, it tells me there are 20 items remaininng, downloading blah blah blah. the page never finishes loading and i can't get any other seraches to work after that. Or any other pages that have images. I have to re-boot again. Only if I try antibes in a search. WTF could that be. Would someone be so kind as to try hoohle image search-antibes and tells me what happens. It's as if that page tries to load something that freezes my jpeg capbilities and only a re-boot will cure it. Any ideas??


edit. I can't even see the icons on this page unless I re-boot!

That is so weird! The same thing happens to me. Bizarre to say the least.

clear the forms, history and cache and see what happens.

ultravox - it's just Google. I tried searching for antibes and it does the same thing for me. (I can get Google to display images if I open up a new IE window)

Could it be because the page is cached? Google doesn't show pictures on cached pages (pages cached by Google).

I had a friend try it it it came up alright. Why would it make me unable to get other results after that, even another search engine and why would it do that only on that search -antines. If I do other searches first they come up only antibes bigers it up. Unless I reboot, I can't even see the reader's icons here!
