I helped my little brother to build his first computer. It was early summer that we ordered the parts and put everything together. He ordered the KDS19sn monitor, which is their 19" but with a very short backside, so it takes very little space on the desk, and it is much lighter than most 19" which comes in handy for LAN parties. Instead of getting that model, the company we ordered from accidentally shipped the KDS19TF, which is the flat screen model that (at the time) was about $75 more. I have the KDS19sn, which is nice, but the flat screen one looks so much sharper and the colors look better.
Well, last week his monitor died. He gives KDS a call, they tell him they'll send him out a new one, and he needs to send the broken one back in the same box. Today he gets a call from them saying that they no longer make the model he needs replaced (which he didnt even pay for in the first place, he payed for a cheaper model), so they are shipping him a 21" KDS in replacement!
I checked up on it, and the model he ordered was $215 at the time, and is slightly less now, but the one he is getting is $399 at the same website.
And to make matters worse, I had put it on my credit card originally, because he is under 18 and didnt have one of his own. I should have comandeered the good one, and given him mine.
