Yes he can. Though you will get mixed reactions. You will either get the "congrats happy birthday!" or "you just made it" or "I gotta go ask the manager" from my experience.

After reading this thread, I'm glad I live in California with it's liquor laws. Booze, beer, wine ... well no everclear, can be bought at most stores up til 2am, bars stop at 2am.

Heh, here in Oregon.. the liquor stores close at like 7PM.. If you're lucky, you live near one thats open until 9PM.

Only liquor stores can sell hard liquor. But most grocery stores sell beer & wine.
