My Brother got his Xbox Live account stolen

the dude changed his live name and password and we couldn't find it for a while. But I was able to get the name he changed it to. It's JusT iNotoriouS. He's contacted Microsoft but they have yet to do anything (it's been weeks). Is there anything I can do?

Call Microsoft again? What else could you do? Also educate your brother about phishing.

Lesson 1: If someone spams a site and tells you they can get you free MS Points if you give them your login info, you should give them your info because you are stupid and need to spend more time learning than you do playing video games.

Learning what exactly.. there is no Correlation between dumb kids and video games. they dont teach phishing in school unless you take a computer related course.

You shouldn't need a computer course to learn common sense.

Teach a man to phish and you'll have given him free accounts for a lifetime.

And a banned console before too long. 😉 Of course he'll just trade in the banned console at Gamestop and get a new one.

@OP - I've heard MS people say on two different podcasts recently that they're cracking down on phishing. Mentioning phishing (assuming that's how they got his account) may help you get the attention you desire from MS support.

its not common sense to know this if your not familiar with what phishing is.
