Talk directly to the manager of a LOCAL (not national chain) rental agency, or to the manager of a dealership that rents. They will probably be willing to rent you a model that they are about to "retire" (after about 18 months of service).

Renting for 3 months is going to be very expensive.....he might want to see if somewhere will do a short lease.

if you dont need to look professional it would probably be cheapest to find a 3-500 dollar POS.
