Lately, when I dream, my brain has been spewing lies and passing them off as truth.
Last night I had a dream that was in a documentary format (think old school history channel). It was about the B29. Evidently the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima came from a carrier in the Pacific. This carrier did not fly the American flag for fear of being recognized. The crew did not like this so the captain decided to hoist the flag.
When the B29 took off from the carrier, it climbed too fast, stalled, and slid backwards until it somehow gained enough momentum and flew onward. According to the narrator, we were so close to having a failed mission because the pilot made an error.
It was so freaking believable, and I *knew* it was wrong... woke up and committed this to memory. I have no idea how many other dreams I had that just confuse my memory of events. I am sure it is a mixture of the Doolittle raid and the B29 drop.
Do you guys experience this too, cause it is starting to annoy me.
