Consider yourself lucky. I have the flu, nothing but dayquil to help with the symptoms, and my boss wants me to bring in a doctor's excuse before I can come back to work. Oh, and I don't have insurance.
My life is great right now.

Been there. I got written up for going to the ER.
The next day I worked a 12 hour shift with the stomach flu and strep throat.
Consider yourself lucky.
Aw, thanks, but like I've told you before, I'm not going out with you. 🙂Originally posted by: HappyPuppy

I think I got fired. I don't care though, I'm not risking my life or the life of other people on the road by delivering pizzas while on a cold medicine cocktail.

Is there no way you can reason with them? I mean, I don't see why companies can't just take the fact that you're sick and can't afford to go to the doctor.
