They stopped working altogether today for no reason. I tried a few ghetto speakers I have lying around and they all work fine and I tried all the tweaks and drivers and reconnects\reboots to get the BA's running but no dice. What is good out there right now? I do a lot of gaming and a little movie watching. I'm not really worried about price. Thanks a lot.............Matt. BTW I dont necessarily need surround but it would be cool to have anyway.

The Z-560's rock!

Also check out the Altec Lansing 621's. They are a 2.1 setup, come with a wired remote control, have a nice futuristic look to them (another ATer pointed this out a while back and I listened/bought them per his post!) and sound FANTASTIC!

Dont want to sound like I am repeating myself....but

You cant beat the sound quality of the Logitech Z-560 speakers. MAYBE only by the Klipsch 4.1/5.1- and those are 299$, 399$

Check out www.provantage.com ....That is where I got mine from, and that is the cheapest I could find. (Btw- I love mine:)

If you like really boomy bass, get the Logitech's. They are about as boomy as I've heard. It will scare the he!! out of the cat and annoy the neighbors.
