i knew my doc was shortchanging me!
you can also have surgical removal...it's actually not cutting into you, it's like some sort of external sonic shock that breaks up the stone via sound...but those are only done if you have a massive stone. If it's small enough, your doc will tell ya to suck it up and be a man. they also have drugs that will break up that stuff..but I don't like to be drugged up.

i've also heard that you get them if you don't drink enough water. i remember when my dad had one, i felt his pain. i hope i never have to go through that.
