My Bittorrent keeps freezing once it starts downloading at high speeds...

    I think you failed at life :p. j/k. It's probably because you opened too many connections. Set the limit lower.

    No upload = No top speeds.

    I have upload set to 50kB/s which it is only taking like 20.

    I have a gig of ram.

    From what I've seen, I don't think peers distinguish between those that upload and those that don't.

    My system used to reboot when I was downloading from BT at high speeds. Problem went away after a fresh install of windows.

    I just downloaded Azerus and it's running at 110kB/s with no problem. Wonder if it was just a BitTornado issue.

    my bt would lock up the pc too. i'd find it rebooted often and i surmised ti was a bt issue

    limit the amount of connections it can make. it's probably trying to make more connections than your router can handle.

    Really? I set my upload up higher and seem to get higher dl's..

    maybe just wishfull thinking though :(

    No you are correct. In my experience, if you limit your upload too much your downloads will be slower.
