Hey guys, I'm turning 22. A couple of friends (5 or 6) and I are going out to celebrate, I just don't know exactly where. Although I've lived in Boston most of my life, I have no real idea where to go for my birthday or what to do.

Any bar / restaurant suggestions?

I know plenty of places to go out, I just was wondering if there were any places in particular I don't frequent very often.

I don't play WoW, but thanks for the suggestion.
 
Of the top of my head I can think of a dozen things to do, so you must not get out much... 🙂

Here are some ideas:

Jillian's can be fun: it's a huge building with bowling, arcade and a night club to serve any of your interests. Boston Beer Works is good if you're into local beers and excellent food. Top of the Hub is amazing if you want a classy dinner/bar experience - relatively expensive, but the amazing view, live music and chill setup make it worthwhile, esp for a date. The North End is loaded with fantastic (mainly Italian) restaurants and the famous Mike's Pastries. Boston Common has outdoor ice skating this time of year. Quincy Market has dozens of awesome take out places and is surrounded by bars. You can also go to a Bruins or Celtics game if they are playing that night.
