BFG 6800GT OC@431/1.1ghz *Basically BFG 6800U OC speeds*

***I will update with the rest of the A64 results this evening. I'm waiting on the new PSU for that system***

sktA Test System:
Shuttle SN45G
1GB 3200DDR 2.5-3-3-11
Maxtor PATA 120gb 8mb cache
Athlon 4 Mobile@1.2ghz 300DC-DDR Synch
2400+ T-bred B@2ghz 266DC-DDR Synch
2400+ T-bred B@2.2ghz 400DC-DDR Synch
WinXP Pro SP1
DX9.0b
Detonator 61.76 WHQL

skt754 Test System:
Shuttle AN50R
1GB 3200DDR 3-3-3-11
Raptor SATA 36.6GB
A64 512kb 3000+@2.4ghz= 3400+
WinXP Pro SP1
DX9.0b
Detonator 61.76 WHQL

FarCry Test Settings:
Hardware OC FarCry Benchmark Tool
Maximum quality option, Direct3D renderer
Pixel shader: default model
Antialising: 4×
Anisotrophic filtering: 8×
Resolutions Tested: 1280x1024 *1024x768 for the A64*
***All tests run twice and the average fps is displayed***

***Testing problem with FarCry. It is not using 1600x1200 even though I set the benchmark tool for that resolution. 1280x1024 is the native res of my LCD so that this tool evidently does not force the higher res. Consequently all the 16x12 scores are pulled. I added 1024x768 to the A64 bench in order to provide some contrast to the 1280x1024 score***

Call Of Duty Test Settings:
Bench'emAll
Antialising: 4×
Anisotrophic filtering: 8×
Resolutions Tested: 1024x768 1600x1200
***All tests run twice and the average fps is displayed***

***Testing problem with CoD. The fps is capped@60fps which is my LCD's default refresh rate. I tried forcing a higher refresh and using custom settings but when I go back in the properties it's disabled and the default settings are applied again. If someone could suggest a good tool for forcing a non-native res and refresh I'd be much obliged :) All I can derive from this botched test is that every clockspeed but the 1.2ghz mobile is capable of hitting the cap with a 6800GT@BFG ULTRA OC speed :( ***

Awesome man, but I noticed your FPS actually increase when you went from 1280x1024 to 1600x1200 on Farcry!! Shows how CPU bottlenecks are affecting your benching, I can't wait for your A64 benchies!

I've been on "do not operate a motor vehicle" medication for a cold the last few days so it's possible I copy&pasted those backwards  It's close enough for goverment work though, and still demonstrates that@that res. game settings, and AA/AF that the CPU isn't a huge factor in those titles.

Well then it must be a huge accomplishment for you to benchmark under "drugged" conditions! You have my envy :) I'll definitely do similar benchies once I get my 6800GTOC and see how our rigs stack up..

In the meantime, have fun blasting away zombies with your new rig and hope you get your soltek mobo

Thnaks brudda  I promise your's will befaster with the 250GB :) There are forceware opts between the 6800 and nF3 250GB plus you won't have to settle for the whimpy 600HTT/LDT I am either.

You know we should have more people bumping this thread up.. too many people come in and look at your numbers and leave without even a good word or something..yet the argument threads that repost information are flaming hot..

We are getting less and less home benchies and we need to encourage people who take the time to make them for us!

good info but you still need to do your A64 benches :)

question about your overclocked 3000+... did you run 1:1 or 5:6?

10 x 240 = 2.4 ghz

It's hard to finish without a PSU brudda :) I'm running 240HTT but with 2.5x multi for 600HTT/LDT, and yes I also have the ram@the default 400DDR this way. That should make it in essence a 3400+ 512k cache system correct?

Just completed open heart surgery

It's a weird one alright. CPU-z kept saying it was 64k l1 and 64k l2 but I googled it and it said 384kb total with the 64+64 being l1. It's a Palomino core. If you would like Barton mobile benchies just send me yours and I'll get 'em going :p

I'll get those benchies run now and post up what I got, thanks for perusing what I finished gentlemen, and ladies as well, if reading this :)

Nice numbers. You should also post this in the video forum sense it has to do w/ gaming benchmarks. Maybe thats just my opinon though.
