It actually doesnt run too bad on my dated system, its playable. I can move the camera around plenty fast. The sound seems worse then my general traversing across the map. Theres a lot of crackling noise and voice getting cutoff. My main complaint with BC2 was the controls or lack there of. Thank god they finally put prone back in. It was so silly to have a war game were you couldnt "hit the deck". Though the many defenses from fanboys for why they didnt have prone were funny. But I think it just came down to Dices poor implementation of it in a previous version and instead of fixing it they took it out, lol, lazy. And you can now run and look to the side!!! Another flaw in BC2. The controls still arnt as good as COD but theyre close. One thing that was better in COD was after you hit prone you could hit the prone key again and it would go to crouch, where as in BF3 prone and crouch seem to be totally separate keys. So say you were running and dropped to the ground real quick, instead of standing all the way back up, you could first go to crouch and check things out, then if the coast was clear you could start running again. In BF3 it seems like you cant go from prone to crouch. Im not sure about this though, Ill have to mess with it some more next time I play, it might be in the keybinds somewhere. Im going to shorten this up by making a list.
Good
1. CAN GO PRONE!!!
2. Can look to side while sprinting
3. Map was enjoyable, looked good
4. Realistic sound effects
5. Interesting voice overs that go on throughout game
6. Playable on my weak system
Bad
1. Have to hit separate buttons to go from prone to crouch
2. Cant toggle sprint, you have to hold it the whole time
3. No indication when I was hitting target?
4. Sound was very crackly and would cut off
5. Geometry floating around going through other geometry
6. Weapons/movement still not quite as crisp as COD, somewhat floaty
Thats all I can think of for now.
