My before and after shots of my new 2005fpw.

I know a lot of people like these, so I figured I'd post the before and after pics of my new 2005fpw I just got in today.

Before
After

My monitor was manufactured in Feb05, and is a revision A01. I see absolutely no dead pixels, and no, I'm not going searching for them. I never understand why people run tests, I've seen none at all, and I'm not going to look for something that I don't normally see. As for backlight bleeding, I tested using the WinXP screensaver, turned out the lights, and there is significant bleeding. However, I do not watch movies on my comp, nor do I normally see any kind of consistant dark images (Doom3 sucks, so I won't be playing it anytime soon), so I'm not the least worried about it. This monitor is great, looks crisp and has a nice picture.

I must say that I'm very glad I'm not an anal user like most of you on this board, so I can get the most enjoyable experience from my money 🙂.

I got mine today too. I don't care where or when it was made. It is working perfectly. Gotta love it. Got this and a Dell Axim for $545 shipped.

True, true. I haven't bothered cleaning, because I'm not quite sure it will stay like this. I'm seriously considering dumping my current dual-monitor setup that I've had for 3 years, sitting my windowed show-boat case in the floor, and doing something completely different than has been my usual for a long time.
