seems that for some reason, my home page has been reset and is ghosted out, thus, cant be changed. I'm well aware how this happened, and normally am able to fix things like this with Spybot or some sniffing through the registry. i just cant figure this one out.. i tried to remove then re-install ie, i tried to repair it, no go.

something i'm overlooking????

I have a registry file on my web page that might help. Try loading the "fix_homepage.reg" file - it should unlock the home page link.

Hi, what does ur Kill Homepage hack do?

The description talks like it just grays out (effectively locks) the home page in. Spybot does something similar to help prevent spyware from changing the home page.

Pranks reminds me of that one BSOD screensaver - it comes up, and looks just like a BSOD. MaximumPC said that they installed it on one of their writer's PCs, and he rebooted a few times before he realized that he could get rid of it by moving the mouse - then discovered it to be a screensaver. Evil people....😀
