Anyone here know what happened?

At approximately 10:00AM EDT, a major power failure caused a disruption in our phone services and access to Navy Federal Online. Please be assured that the integrity of your accounts are preserved. We expect repairs to be completed today, June 17. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We will continue to update this website.

I'd bet their network is down or something and that their phones are VOIP ... no worries ...

Actually, if they both went away, you'd come out on top.

We decided that the U.S Navy was no match to Somalian pirates so we surrendered at 05:00 today.

Perhaps a power or network outage. Most businesses use IP phone systems these days, so if the main network goes down, you lose both data and voice capabilities at the same time.

I heard they had to liquidate the Credit union to pay for glass bottoms in the new Navy boats. This decision was made so they could see all the old Navy boats.

Amateurs. Power should never, ever disrupt service. Especially phone service.

My thoughts exactly.

In 11 years this has only happened once in one of my jobs, and it was absolutely inexcusable.
