2) Overall, it wasn't too bad. Instrumentation was actually pretty good. Singer, not as much.

Actually, I think the singer is talented, except when he goes "high".

I like the singer when he seems normal. The screaming and stuff was no good.

It was pretty good. I liked the instrumentation and the singer although he doesn't have much of an upper range.

Not an expert by any means and listening through laptop speakers but the vocals seem really separated from the instruments not sure if that makes sense but oh well :) other wise not too bad not my style really though.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good other than those parts.

The guitar solo was pretty lame. You should only solo if you have something significant to say, to just to "fill space." The Beatle's were an incredibly original band, so even though you're doing this song your way you still shouldn't stomp all over their legacy by turning this piece into a generic rock song.

Other than that it was good, your drummer is doing a nice job.

Guitar: 4/5
Good work on the geetars.

Drums: 3/5
It almost sounds like you're using a drum machine...too many beats on the snare and bass, it clashes with the rest of the song.

Vocals: 4/5
Don't listen to the people saying the vocals were bad...they're not. My comp has audiophile grade speakers (I built them myself) and I can say for this kind of music the singer is decent. I just did not like the screaming part, not that I don't like screaming in music it just felt out of place.

Recording Quality: 5/5
Sounds like it was recorded in a studio. There is no background noise to speak of and the levels all seem to be in check.

Oh god, your vocalist is terrible. His screams are awful and even his normal singing is boring and monotone. He has no range and his 'heavy voice' is a kick in the balls to all decent rock vocalists.

Guitar was pretty solid though.

When your vocalist wasn't screaming it was okay. Sounds like he could take some more lessons to build up a range but I thought he was decent. Just keep at it and it isn't bad

guitar was tight, and slightly too much drums.

I'd listen to it, but I wouldn't actively seek it out. It would be a lot better if the vocalist didn't scream though.

I agree. To be fair I don't typically like this style of music but with this song it's like the guitar riffs and drums drown out the whole song until it becomes a complete mess. Technical wise, they seem very talented so they didn't butcher it like a high school band or some rapper with the auto tuner cranked up.

Also, the lead singer doing the "shoom boom bominaaaaaaaa" was incredibly pointless and stupid.

Not bad... for some reason the sound kinda reminds me of Silverchair.

My $0.02... have your vocalist stay within his range, and tone down the rhythm section a bit to let the lead guitarist shine through a little more on solos. Drums need some work too, he needs to do more than just pound the snare.

Thought the singer was actually pretty good...but the screaming stuff was lame. Guitars were sweet. Drums was a little too showy.

Oh...did I mention less screaming. Actually, no screaming.

Louder on the solo guitar, softer on the rythm, accentuate teh base guitar, lead singer take singing lessons, Kick drum mic, professional recording session.

:)

I liked it. The base + rhythm overpower the lead guitar's soloing, and teh Kick is flat.

I have an Audigy 24-bit and logitech x230's. It sounded very good (mixed quite well).

The vocalist should stop thrusting when he screams. Playing live it's fine but in albums you just shouldn't do it. The only time you do that is if the band and vocalist are doing a live recording. If you need more volume on it just edit it. He needs to keep a fine balance of range.
