My Ballistix Tracer LED does not pass beyond its rating speed

This is the review and according to the reviewer, I should not have no problem reaching 1065 @ 5-5-5-15 but it bombed out @ 4 round into Memtest86. (passed the first three attempts, using c-1-3-5-0 setting)
I have bumped the voltage to 2.2 prior to o/c'ing.
So far it's stable @ 950 or less. (after 6 passes into memtest86 and over 18hrs of Prime95 torture test).
Is it the mobo's limitation?


The mobo is eVGA 650i Ultra.
System is in sig #2.

i see you're running 4x1GB. That puts a lot of strain on the memory controller (in the NB), so it's harder to OC the RAM. trying bumping the vSPP a little when you OC your RAM.
