Really the most proven method, which still does not work for everyone, is minoxidil with finasteride. Some people swear by Nizoral in tandem. Whatever you do just don't try to hide it with a crazy combover like my former boss.

2 months and it already grew back? That is super quick.

No, about 8 months now, and only areas where it has partially thinned. And even there it doesn't completely fill it in, just helps to make the thinning strands full, which still helps a bit. E.g.

Minoxidil - that is the most ingenious marketing ever - make guys too afraid to quit using it or else will loose hair faster

As if that shit makes any difference whatsoever
same with Nizoral - really meant for dandruff control - just a myth it actually helps with baldness

Yeah that's pretty common, it won't fully regrow the area but is better than nothing. Finastrade and minoxidil are really only used to slow down hair loss because over time genetics will take over, getting regrowth is sort of "lagniappe".

minoxidil does work, just not in all cases. Plenty of proven photos, its not like hair just magically appears. I do agree with Nizoral, I think it does squat

I got mine buzzed back much shorter than I usually had it. I suppose it still looks alright, just different for me.
Plenty of gray though, and I'm 33.

Brah!

Just let the front go bald, but grow out the back. Then ponytail the back. You'll look hot! :)

I tried Nizoral. Think we had the 2% without having to get a prescription. I don't think it even worked as a placebo because I don't remember feeling better.

Aw, man. All that time wasted reading up baldness cures that weren't prescription drugs or topical medicines... And worrying about my "comb-over" every morning to hide my thinning, being afraid to touch my hair, the wind taking everything out, not worrying hats, running to mirrors to make sure my comb-over wasn't moved, trying and failing to hide my thinning because I ran out of spare hair despite growing it out.

I want to go back and bury my foot in my ass for worrying about that garbage.

I've been blessed with the superior ginger genes, my hair is still pretty thick at 29. Though, it is slightly starting to thin out compared to when I was a kid and I noticed it does not grow as fast. I can get away without a haircut for a good 3 months now as before it was every month.

The essence of a good haircut has little to do with the style. It's about how effectively the haircut expresses the person's inner self and how comfortable the person is with that inner self. If you're afraid of going bald, shave it off. Watch your fears and attachments fall to the floor with the clippings. Be amazed by the sudden feeling of increased control over your own life.

"God made a few perfect heads. The rest He decided to cover with hair." -- as said by my sister-in-law.

As others have said, just embrace it. I'm too lazy to shave my head so I just run a set of clippers with no guard over my dome once a week. Like pretty much any other man that has tried it I immediately wondered what took me so long. I wouldn't go back to a full head of hair now even if it were possible.

Both my grandfather's, all my uncles, and my dad all have shaved heads. I've still got a full (pretty thick) head of hair at 28. I'm waiting patiently to wake up one morning with no hair left. I don't know how I've made it this far. When the day comes, I will welcome it with open arms. Easy showering, fast drying, easy morning maintenance.... Sign me up!

Sounds like a Mr. Clean endorsement deal is going to be heading your way at some point.

But wait... I always heard the rumor baldness gene runs on the mom's side? Unless you mean your mom's bro's... Then yeah you bald.

I basically have the hair of a large Newfoundland dog in the dead of winter :awe:

I know exactly where the genes run because I hear about it at -every- family gathering ever.... and we've determined I'm defying all sorts of science right now. Moms' bro, mom's dad, and mom's dad's dad (before my time, but still rocking the horseshoe ring around his bald dome) .... all shaved. My dad is pretty much bald with a few sprouts of hair here and there.

Maybe I should look into that Mr. Clean endorsement.

Have you bathed in toxic sludge recently? Maybe you have super powers? :D

And on the plus side you could also become a fedora aficionado, or star in some reeeallly freaky pr0n.
