So im at quiznos right ordering my favorite turkey large sub. However, i went to a different one where i cant see them make my sub. I tell them what i want on it exactly to the point and pay the guy the money. (I only want 3 things on the sub.. not hard to mess up) 2 Minute later another guy starts making my sub. In my head im thinking man i wish i wouldve went to the the other quiznos since i can see them making my sub infront of me. Anyways, my sub comes out the toaster looking pretty tasty and ready to eat. I took a second look and said is that tomato and the guy says, "nope". So, i said, "i mustve been seeing things." He wraps it up and i leave, but i checked the sub in my car and it was tomatoes.

So i walk back in there and the guys knows exactly why im back. He said, the other guy didnt know you didnt want tomato. So he takes the bad sandwich and puts it on the counter where i can see. He than makes me a new sandwich and it looks tasty and correct. He end up giving me the other sub back so i have 2 large subs (1 free). Anyways, i get home and bite into my sub and something is different. What??? They put something i didnt ask for again!!! WTH, i got 2 subs and they messed up both. I will never go to a sub place where i cant see them making my sandwich.

Sorry about my grammar.

Hardly. A buddy of mine has a laundry list of things to take off Big n Tasty's and they never mess that up for him.

To me its like pulling onions off a white castle burger. The taste and juices is soaked into the bread. I dont eat tomato on my burgers either.

He'd probably complain if they put too much meat on the sub.

The kind of Quiznos' where you can't see the sub creation process (because of something STUPID like plastering the f*cking glass with stupid posters and ads for all their sandwiches, with the menu less then 4 feet away) compounded with a bunch of workers that speak English as a second language = the most horrible experience I've ever had.
This was in Chicago at the Quiznos' near the Rosemont Convention Center and O'Hare.

Im bitching because i pay more at quiznos than any other sub place. I expect it to be correct for the amount im paying. I could make my own sandwich at home, but i had a taste for quiznos today.

I already explain why i wont settle for that. I hate the taste of them in the first place and taking them off won't kill the taste already juice'd into the bread.

Im a picky person.. yep. :disgust:

No need for ':disgust:' -- you're picky if you can't deal with that. It's a freakin' tomato.

Reminds me of my sister, she refuses to eat any sandwich with tomatoes or onions on it, even if I valiantly offer to remove them, hence touching them. Picky people like you make me sick, its just a fvcking tomato, they're good for you...

EDIT: FYI, I am biased when it comes to being picky about tomatoes and/or onions. I'm Palestinian, and only retarded, picky, or just plain fvcked up Palestinians don't like either of the above :p.

The OP does have a right to be picky since 1) he requested no tomatoes 2) is a paying customer. We all have certain things that we do not like to eat. I for one hate sauerkraut since I was forced to eat it as a kid. :p

I don't really like tomatoes in whole slice form on things (I love them in sauce / chunk form though) but what do I do? I eat around them, or put them off to the side, it's not that hard.

Now I'm not calling you anything or trying to insinuate it, but when I was a kid I was picky like this. Then I went to college. Dorm food straightened me right out.

Only thing i eat with tomatoes is.. ketchup for my fries or pasta sauce (If its chunks of tomatoe in the sauce i put it on the side of the plate). Oh well im always being called picky and i am. Nothing new to me, but im just like your sister. I guess you have to be picky to understand :D

Oh well, different strokes for different folks. And I doubt I'll be having any strokes seeing as how I get lots and lots of good old lycopene from my tomatoes :p

I went to Quizno's only once in my life a few weeks ago. I got their Cheesesteak dealie and it was the stringiest sandwich I ever ate. It was like eating rubber, and when all was said and done, I have stingy meat stuck in all the crevases of my teeth! :(
