My ATI 9700 CORE/MEM clock speeds...

I just downloaded the Rage3DTweaker and this is what the default settings were on my ATI Radeon 9700 (non pro) by Powercolor.
CORE: 324
MEMORY: 297.0

Can anyone tell me if this is a good setting? I was told that this card came overclocked from powercolor but im not sure about this source however I am getting artifacts that people on this forum are calling symptoms of an overlyclocked video card. What is a good setting to set my video card at as far as core clock and memory clock?

Your source is dubious. I reckon the mem is a bit high. Try backing it down to 290. The core can prolly go higher however. In any case, I recommend editing the BIOS back to normal levels or else flashing with a compatible default one. Then only using Rage3D Tweak to o'erclock as necessary.
