My athlon 64 3200 754 socket on Asus K8N-E Delux seems to over heat and blue screen me daily
If I run a huge floor fan pointed at my open case, the computer works fine. I suspect a poor connection. I want to remove the CPU, check for corrosion, and check for the connection between fan and CPU, because often I get a report "System Failed due to overclocking, however I have never overclocked.. Has anyone put on better bonding on fan connection to the CPU?
This mother board has had very bad connections to my Mouse and keyboard a few months after I bought it, wherre jigling it in and out would restore the problem, and now I run wirless USB II. I an suspecting corosion on sockets creating poor connection or poor connection between fan and CPU.
Any suggestions how to take off the CPU and fan or do I first take the fan off then the CPU?
Any other suggestions?
