Have you ever looked at the products you buy and checked where they're manufactured? At least here in Canada, almost everything you buy (outside of food items) are made in China. I tried boycotting PRC products and I'll tell you, its very difficult to do.

<< MADE IN CHINA.... I couldn't believe it when I first saw the label, I bet this board will die within 2 weeks. >>

I'm sorry...I try not to be outright rude to people....and I try to respect other peoples opinions...but this corsses a line... jackc20_00, are you Racist, Ignorant or just plain Stupid?
Why the f**k does it matter where the board is made? Yes there are some cheap pieces of crap made in China, but Asus is a good company with high standards. They will impose the same Quality Control standards on chinese workers as they would anywhere else. Are you trying to say that you don't think Chinese workers are as compotent as American or Taiwanese workers, or Japanese or any other country you like. Assuming that Asus puts the same quality of equipment in the Chinese plants as they do in their other plants and enforce the same quality control standards why would the board be any worse?

I apologize for the outburst people...I just can't stand that kind of attitude....I live near and work with many people from many Asian countries, and many of them are my friends and are very skilled intelligent people, and attitudes like this just plain piss me off.
Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese, American, Canadian, British, French...why does it make any difference?

Well put. It's of note that "Made in Japan" 35 years ago meant "Cheap piece of crap", but now it means "Expensive but good quality".

My dad told me about that "Made in Japan" story as well long ago....
