Hi, after finally getting the zip issue sorted out.. a month later, another problem with the asus a7v133 mobo appears. It won't boot! I proceeded to turn it on today, and nothing comes up on the screen. The hd light comes on.. and so does the cdrom and cdrw, so that leads me to believe that neither those components nor the cpu are not working. I have the 1004 version of the bios installed. I tried taking out the power cord for a few hours and then plugging back in to see if that does anything.. it didn't. I tried shorting the BIOS, that didn't help either.. i'm starting to REALLY regret buying this motherboard.!

Thanks for the help guys

I had a similar problem shortly after I put the new system together. Seems my PCI modem was flaky and prevented the system from starting. Remove all cards except for you video card and start up the PC. If that works continue to add cards until the PC won't start and you've got the suspect card found. Also are you gettings any beeps during the POST, if it was the CPU, RAM or video card you should be getting a sequence of beeps that can tell you whats wrong. The first page of your mobo manual that starts dealing with the BIOS will have the error codes on it.
