my apt's internet died

so i have my laptop using someone's wireless, can i hook my laptop's ethernet port into my own router so my desktop can then get network access?

how would i set this up?

You sure can. Plug in the cable from the ethernet port, and plug it into the PC. Go to your Network Connections on your laptop, right click on your wireless connection, Properties, and find Internet Connection Sharing, and turn it on. I'm on a Mac right now, so its not step-by-step, but its possible.

Search "internal external network card" or "two network cards" on Google Groups, and I'm sure you will find 100 walkthroughs
