looking good, i do video transfers.... from dvd to vhs, with out watching them, need one that plays svcd and dvd+/-r? any more idea's, that 34.99 on i wonder how it measures up?

maybe something to think about but I just got a Yamaha a cpl days ago and it also does jpg's. Yeap just burn *.jpg to cd-r or cd-rw and put it in and it display jpg's and thumbs ect..., not talking about picture cd or anything just plain burning of jpg's to cd-r, very nice. It apparently plays straight mpeg1 also I'll have to check that out.

I just bough a JVC 50BK from Best Buys. Its an awesome DVD player. Does mostly everything. I payed 120 bucks, not including a 20 MIR
