Miserable.

I feel ya. My apartment dropped to 43 degrees when my heating went out. Had to fix it myself, after the landlord instructed me to go out and buy 4 space heaters because they didn't want the pipes to burst :frown:

what a bunch of douchebags; that's crap, they're the landlords, keeping the building warm should be their problem.

I don't own a space heater, so to heat my apartment a bit I am leaving the shower on with wide open hot water. Sad and wasteful....

1. Turn on oven to 400F.
2. Open door to oven.
3. PAY ATTENTION to make sure you don't catch anything on fire.
4. ???
5. Profit!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, my oven is positioned about 1 inch from the wall, so it wouldn't take long for fire.

Tell him to turn it on

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to freeze your tenants.

He doesn't answer his phone.

Refuse to pay him until he turns on the heat.

He has 26 days until my rent is due, lol, it'll probably be warm by then.

How many other people live in that apartment building? Surely they're throwing a fit as well? That's brutal.

Buy a space heater FTW!

They're only $20, but they'll do a lot more damage than that to the landlord's electric bill :)

I feel your pain. I only had my water cooling for my computer to help me one night. According to it, the processor's temp was at 14ºC, which is 57ºF. I don't want to know how cold it was in my room since it normally runs at 28ºC at room temperature.
