This is my first build and I just got finished hooking everything up. I turn on my computer and everything works normal but to my suprise the psu fan isnt working. I tried plugging the three pin fan plug into both of the availible fan connectors on my mobo but the fan still wont turn on. What should I do?

Im using a Chaintech VNF4/Ultra mobo in the Antec sonata II with the 450 watt Smart Power PSU

If I'm not mistaken, the outer fan on those psu's does not cut on till the psu reaches a certain temp. The inner fan should be on...open her up and see.

Where did you find out this information about the psu anyway?

Edit: Never mind, the inside fan is running, thanks

Ok, I have the Smart Power series PSU the outer fan does not kick in till a certain internal PSU temp or as for me it goes on only when I play games like UT2004 and other games or Heavy CPU/Graphics usage it will turn on. But I smelled a burning smell first but then it went away so I think it was just a new smell like a new car smell because I have heard other ppl say the same.
