My announcement and subsequent apology

I have now realized I have caused more harm than good to TA as a whole. I have countlessly flamed the fires when problems of magnitude occur. I have been partly responsible for two people to leave the team. Recently I have pissed off just about everybody on IRC and even caused one member to stop going to it. So I am formally apologizing to Team Anandtech as a whole and specifically BurntKooshie, ViRGE, and mechBgon.

I am very sorry and please understand if I do not post or join the channel for a long time. Thank you,

PF, I hope you don't think I was upset at you for leaving your song-title script running. It was easily dodged by /ignoring it while you were gone, is all. Dunno the rest of what you're alluding to, but I thought I'd take one straw off the camel's back.

PF, As one who has done the same thing - I believe you will find as a whole this group is pretty forgiving. As to whether anyone actually 'causes' someone to leave - that is debateable. A lot of times, people who already made up their minds use things as a scapegoat to justify the decision to the group. IMHO

I've found that if I engage my brain before my fingers and think about what is really being said, that I P.O. fewer people. Laughing helps too.

From my perspective you have alot to add. How about a new PF thread about all the new members coming in because you re-focused on recruiting?

I don't hang out in IRC, and Ive been occupied with other matters so I havent been in the forums much lately so I do not know what has gone on, but I do wish you would reconsider staying. You are a very valuable member of this group and it would be a shame to see you go.

Not to start a contest of who can appologize the most, but PF, it was a bad move on my part to do what I did. I'm sorry. I also realized something....I said I'd refrain from going to the channel - I stated that poory. I meant that I don't get into teh channel nearly as often as I want, and I refrain from going in so that I can graduate Not because I'm gonna avoid you (I mean, common', who else is gonna drive over me with a POS van, or drop a star destroyer on me )
