My Ankle!!!

I was helping my roommate move his furniture, and I was going down our stairs, and on the last step, I bit it big time, there was a crack, from my ankle, and now I got a nice swollen ankle...It sucks..looks like I'll just be sitting here on ATOT all night...no bars 🙁

unless...I just drink the pain away

Oh by the way...I finished my last final today, horray, done with college...ah kick back and graduate now

it was a loud noise...crack pop...couldn't really tell, I was falling while holding a desk...at least I didn't drop the desk at all...

Wow, that's ironic. I sprained my ankle this past saturday playing basketball with my friends. Went up for a dunk and didn't quite make it (got blocked on the way up), I grabbed on to the rim but then slipped and landed odd on my ankle. Kinda hurt... I feel your pain.

get it looked at and treated... or you will really, really regret it

QFT. To the OP, you shouldn't avoid going to the doctor. If for some reason it doesn't heal right, it could cause you problems later in your life.

yeah..that's what my mom said, I dunno, I can stand on it, but it won't bend very well
I may go in tomorrow if it swells up real bad...right now it's managable, but I've had it on ice for a while, I'll use the last of my free visits to the campus clinic before I graduate 🙂

i rolled mine bad a month or so ago. the pop was probably a ligament snapping. Rest. Ice. Compression. Elevation. get an x-ray, just to make sure theres no break... btw dont drink. itll make it worse. aspirin will take down the swelling and pain...

It's been almost 3months and my ankle still hurts when I jump or stretch 🙁

yea.. I srpained mine a month ago after grabbng the rebound, and it still hurts whenever I jump.

My GF sprained hers pretty bad a few weeks ago. X-rays came back clear. But it was still really painful and swollen weeks later, so she got another set done, and it turns out she had hairline fractures in both of the major leg bones, that they had missed seeing previously.

I know your pain, three times is my count, twice on the left and once on the right
last time was 1-2 months ago, still hurts at a certain angles but nothing under normal use

I was thought how to tape it befoer you go for example play basketball, helped soooo much the first few days
