My AMD XP 2400+ reads as 1800+

Could there be something wrong with the motherboard settings? or is possible that the 1800+ cpu was put in the 2400+ box by accident?

I had the same problem a while back with a cheap Motherboard. It was using bus setting that would only let my xp 2400+ run at 1500 mhz and it was posting as an xp 1800+. I douwt it an 1800+ youve got it just your settings. ... Later
