My Altech Lansing AVS500w's are making a buzzing sound :(

Hi, recently I bought a 5 set of altec lansing, and whenver I use it I get this buzzing sound, and as I put it louder and louder it gets worse. It almost sounds like when I have it at low volume it's at high volume, when infact it isnt.

Does anyone know why this happened? One of my friends said it may have been becuase I did not break in my speakeras proeprly, and I should have done it some other way

If that is the case, could someone tell me the best wsay to break it in, and where I can download the sounds I should use to do this?

<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d8d0c8">Might be getting some interference from your monitor...also I have seen this problem if the Speaker Cabling is in close proximity to power supplies and cords

Ho wwould I check if the monitor is giving it interference?

Also, the power cords are nowhere near it
