I heard it happened to Sharkeeper, too. I don't think there's much you can do about it, but just wanted to let you know... I think it happened over the night of 1/18 or 1/19, don't remember exactly.

I was almost golden, too:). C'est la vie...

Goodluck on the restoration of your account bobtist! Perhaps if zuni cant bump your post count up to your former status he could at least grant you a honorary title like "purple heart" for getting hurt in the tour of duty, etc :)

Here's the thread describing the potential problem, if you recall your post count, sign-up date etc. perhaps Zuni can restore your stats.

No idea as I said earlier it is very hard to know from the corruption, with the old user table doing counts or selecting near the corruption results in shutting down SQL (which is what happened bef0re). Although, dbcc (the tool used to repair and check the database) reported the same row count as before the script ran.

I have no clue what my exact post count is or my exact signup date... Oh well:). A special account status would be funny, but it's trivial to me and unecessary. I'll just have to deal with people calling me "junior" for a few days...

What happens if you read an archived thread that you posted in, can you click on your profile there? I tried searching on your username but it doesn't find anything, maybe you could find something with a topic search.

I had posted in GirlFriday's "Natural Beauty" thread on the night of Jan. 19th.... My post magically disappeared by the time I made my new account. It's kinda' funny, because people in the thread replied to me, but my post isn't there:).

I'm new to this forum, but got bumped up to member in a couple of days from Jr. What, if any, are the priveleges of going platinum/diamond?

Nothing at all, airfoil, it's just a quick way to see how many posts a person has made (and possibly infer how long they've been around). Member = 21+, Senior Member = 201+, etc.
