My A8V problems with Vcore voltage

hi, i am having slight problem with my asus a8v. if i choose any of the following voltages:-
1.45
1.475
1.5
1.525
1.550,

and reboot pc, i check the voltages and the vcore is always fluctuating from 1.440 to 1.456 ;o. as soon as i pop it to 1.575v, it works properly, vcore jumps from 1.568 to 1.586 (verified by bios, asus tool, and cpu-z).! having to run at this voltage on air makes me a little warmer than i would like (47C idle).
also it is not a misreading, because if i use any of the above mentioned voltages, system is unstable!

any ideas? ta
