My 8K7A started rebooting at random....never used to....

Not to mention it reboots on me while I'm looking.

What was the trick anyhow??

Yes I do overclock and it's been real stable for a couple months now.

Check your temps...

Yeah...I keep a good eye on temps all the time.

I should also say that it will cold boot into safe mode too.

I restart and it may look ok, but will reboot on me @ random.

If it were temp related, it would boot ok and THEN get unstable...

Oh, I did replace my 27cfm fan with a Delta 38 screamer...

Temps are lower now.

prolly coZ now is summer time But if it's been stable for months only now your system is acting up--prolly due to heat related issues.

First thing in the morning? First cold boot?

My office is in the basement too...just so it stays cool.

I really think its something else....

I even saw posts to this same effect...but I can't find them.

I was hoping to find out how they were resolved.

Hey -

I had this happen to me with an older pc.

Change out your power supply, it's probably intermittent...

It's worth a try.
