How are you telling it isn't charging?
*Does Power Manager indicate it is charging? If you go to the battery information section, does it say Discharging or Charging?
*Does the battery LED below the LCD blink steadily?
Make sure you un-seat and re-seat the battery. Does Power Manager detect the battery at all?
Doh, here's a common thing: what percentage is the battery at when you try to charge it? I believe the default settings prevent charging at or above 96%, but that should be adjustable somewhere within Power Manager.
Worst case scenario, download SP2004 (
http://sp2004.fre3.com/) and Real-Time High Dynamic Range Image Based Lighting (
http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/rthdribl/). Extract two copies of SP2004 into two separate folders (on your Desktop is fine), run each of them and make sure to set one program to Core 1 & the other to Core 2. Then run RTHDRIBL, this taxes your GPU. Running all three of these at the same time will give you the max power drain possible, pretty much. That should drain the battery down much quicker, you'll just need to get it pluggled in after it dies.
But honestly I doubt you'll have to do that. Update us when you get more info
