My 5th Gen Ipod does not display any songs anymore on Ipod

My 5th Gen Ipod does not display any songs anymore on Ipod. When it connects to the computer, it shows all of the songs though.

On the Ipod, I click music --> songs --> and the screen is totally blank with no songs. IT doesn't freeze or anything, it just shows no songs.

What should I do? It still has all of the songs on the ipod, it just doesn't display them.

This happened to me once. I believe I had to Restore my iPod to factory settings. Heres a link to show how do that. I think that was the only way to fix that issue, if you find another way be sure to let me know!

That means that the internal database file on your iPod got corrupted or erased. You'll need to back up all of your music and use iTunes to restore it to factory ettings.
