I have been thinking about replacing this thing for a while. Since I keep things until they literally fall apart, I have not even shopped for one. But all you geniuses on AT probably have a solution.

Here is the sitch:
Honda Civic 1998.
I want to spend around 200-250
I would like something built to last, since I plan on keeping this car at least another 5 years before I hand it off to my oldest daughter.
MP3 playability is a must...and I am thinking I might go XM or Sirius with this unit.

What do you recommend I buy?

OBTW, I have installed a dozen or so car stereos so giving internet sources is cool. I can have it shipped to me and rip up the car myself.

EDIT: I would also prefer a unit with a removable face plate.

I dunno man, I love my JVC digifine series deck.. I'd buy another one.. it plays every brand of CD just fine, it has good mp3 directory searching and playback.. it's nice.. and it looks clean. that's why i got it.

I am currently searching for a new stereo in another browser window, and am interested in the opinions of people who have made purchases recently.
