my 4G, 20 gig iPod fvsked up!!!

Basically, my I put my iPod in for its charging, went to class, and came back to find the reload perpetually on. Thank god for Best Buy warranty plan.

man, i was going to get a 5G ipod, but there are so many issues with it (battery lifetime, not contrast/brightness contros, etc). Also, the issue of them trying to milk every cent out of the consumer. I hope they at least fix the technical issues, then i might think of spending (and not wasting) $300.

in case you didnt try everything (which no one does):

1. force reset by holding play and the center click button for 15 seconds or so
2. plug in to computer, run ipod software updater and reset it, resync with itunes
3. let the battery run down, then plug it back in

your still going to lose it for ahwile. I think they stopped offereng the replacement plan on those and started servicing them..
