Hello everyone!

I've had my 30'' dell for the last 5 years (almost 6 now!) as my main and only monitor, but i would like to grab another display so i can always have other stuff open (websites, temperature monitoring software, etc) but all that on a separate screen.

The thing is that my main display has a 2560x1600 resolution, and I'm looking for another monitor so i can turn it around 90º (portrait mode) so it has the same height, but I don't know what size monitor do i need so it has the exact size once rotated...

Hope you understand what i mean, hopefully this picture will help

I want this setup, but only one side screen rotated the same way.

Thanks everyone!

General consensus is the Dell 2007FP (*not 2007WFP*) for the best match.

Thanks LucJoe for the fast reply.
2007FP is quite a old display, and pricey imo... don't know if i should invest money on that right now or change of platform better...

Thing is i don't really need to change platform "soon", so maybe i could get screen and wait a bit

There are multiple revisions of the 2007FP but the newest one is S-IPS (like your U3011) so yes it will be a bit pricey.

The reason this is perfect for a side monitor is the resolution 1600x1200 makes the vertical portrait resolution match the U3011.

$189 shipped for a refurb, no idea how to tell what revision it is though.
