Did you see his second wife?

There are a lot of things that can hamper your confidence that make you "marry lower" in looks. If you've seen him recently, with his rebecoming beast signature and threads, I think it's pretty clear that he doesn't have any sort of confidence issues that would lead to substandard looks in a partner.

He's been e-confident here since I've started posting afaik. I think he's more the kind of guy that needs be around people to look down on.

You should give your daughter $1,000 and also buy her a car. And I would pay the portion of the rent her BF was paying. That's something you can easily do as a father.

Idk if I could give up $1,000 like that, especially if I was struggling. At least she got $50 out of her honesty.

It's situations like this that make me wonder/question if God/karma is even real. Wouldn't it suck balls if the kid lost her job then needed that money, only to have her fall into depression and off herself or something shitty? All because she was honest.

Inherited family vs the people here that say they aren't really my kids.

Well, people here say that because you yourself just announced that you're "officially a dad," with the strong/obvious/logical implication being that prior to "your own bun in the oven," you weren't a dad.

I usually keep cash that I find unless someone sees me pick it up. I figure there is a high chance that the person I turn it in to will just keep it anyway, so it might as we'll be me. I think the most I've found is $20 though. I did turn in $20 to a waitress a few months ago and I'm pretty sure she just kept it based on the look she gave me.
I figure serves you right for losing it IMHO, that's where the karma kicks in.

im going to guess she is probably pretty hot. For as much as everybody dislikes alkemyst, he is a pretty good looking guy, and the confidence that rubs us basement dwellers the wrong way makes a woman dripping wet. So his current gf who is the mother of this child is probably pretty good looking herself, and its probable as well that the daughter is good looking.

Oh gwad way to swell his head

That thing you're confusing for "confidence" is what most normal people classify as "thinly veiled validation-seeking behavior."

How you got it wrong is beyond me, but you still got it wrong. Sorry, the guy does not exude confidence. He exudes a desperate need for acceptance by strangers.

Regardless of who gets "credit", the girl did the right thing and deserves a lot of kudos. It's very easy to do the "right thing" when there are easy choices or easy alternatives. It's much harder to do the right thing when doing so involves sacrifice or really tough alternatives.

Good on her.

Pics of this 26 year old daughter? ;)

Good job raising your kid like that. Very tempting to keep the $1000, but you never know the circumstances/life situation of the person that lost it.

404 - alky's 26 year old girl not found

What are you talking about? She is totally Alky's 26 year old daughter.

Imagine you're in your mid-20s and your mom starts dating a guy. You'd totally think of that guy as your dad. C'mon. Get real here. Stop busting Alky's chops.

You seem to be the attention seeker.

It's been more than 2 years. Her daughter lived locally prior to her mom moving in with me from out of state.

It's pretty awesome though the focus you guys make.

My apologies, Alky. Let me correct that.

They are new to me, my fiancee rose them right. I met her daughter and mother early on in our courtship. I had a lot more money then :(. Her daughter was struggling and my fiancee's ex through her out and smashed her laptop on the way out.

I got her a Macbook Pro 13" and a cell phone.

She's a really good kid despite the tough breaks she has had.

The crappy part is her lover is now wanting her out of the house. I have no room and she has no car.

That $1000 could have been her car easily.

The woman that came in to her store was crying and really upset. She even apologized that $50 was all she could afford to give (which IMHO was probably more than she could have really afforded :().

It is tough to do the right thing sometimes. Glad to hear she made the right choice.

Congrats on the bun. ;)

I lost my wallet somewhere between the checkout and my car at Wal-Mart that had about $2000 or so in it. I had just sold a four wheeler and went to the store and I payed and put my wallet in my pocket like normal(I think I did) and I had both hands full carrying bags. The state police found my wallet on the side of the highway. It wasnt long after that I lost a zip lock bag that had probably 800-1000 in it, since then I have been extremely cautious
