My setup

ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3
2500K @ 4.4GHz - 1.30V
Antec H2O 920

when I ran Intel Burn Test, my temp go up to 100C and when my system idle, its around 45-50

I see people's temp is around 30-40 idle and 70ish on full load...

any idea to fix it ?

something similar happened to me, for me it was that the cooler stand itself had overheated and started melting, causing it to sit in a weird position

Reset Cooler
Re-apply TIM
Revert to stock
Install other cooler to see if you get teh same results
Reseat CPU
Check for visible bumps in teh surface of the IHS/HSF

Try using a different temp reading software like HWMonitor, Open Hardware Monitor, HWiNFO or Core Temp. There might be a possibility that Real Temp has some issues with your setup and you're getting readings that are inaccurate.

Depends a lot on the chip. My chip needs a lot more voltage once I go over 4.3. I can do 4.2 at 1.23V, 4.3 at 1.26V, and then to get 4.4 and 4.5 fully stable I need to go to like 1.32-1.35V.

This.

Anyway, tjmaxx is 98c and ideally you should keep SB full load within 60-75c max

I think one thing people have to remember though is that full load on IBT / LinX is not what "full load" with games are. If you are maxing out IBT at say 80c which is my personal max, although if the upgrade was worth it, say 4.5 to 5.0 for 5degrees I would do it. 85 would be my absolute thermal limit in ibt/linx for SB.

Anyway as I was trying to say before my rant, people need to realize that IBT and Linx both stress out your cpu harder than ANYTHING else you can toss at your system. I don't care what games you are playing, what videos you are encoding, what kind of multitasking you are doing. You can run 64 copies of WoW on your system and not have temps that IBT gives you.

So just keep in mind, if you are IBT stable but have high temps say in the high 70s or low 80s, your gaming temps can be MUCH MUCH cooler than that.

As long as your cpu temps are fine for what you are doing you will be fine. Thats what you need to focus on.

As far as the OP goes, you need to look into what is causing the high temps. Either the pump failed, it's not seated properly or there is no water in it lol. Something HAS to be wrong.

On air cooling with roughly 1.4 to 1.45 vcore with a hyper 212+ cooler and 2 ultra kaze fans in a push pull I stay under 80c easily. With my ac on it's a cool 68-72c depending on the core, with it off its mid 70s to high 70s which is perfect for me.

During gaming my cpu is extremely cool 🙂

Your H2o is bugging out. Are you getting water flow, is pump maybe spinning slower a sign its gonna break down ... Is there full contact between block and cpu , etc ,, thx

No His temps are abnormally high.

IBT should net 90C top at the 1.31-1.35 range 🙁

Did you take the sticker off the cooler?

What did you change in BIOS to over clock? Just wondering as your chip should.throttle down with those temps.

My 2550k would throttle at 4.8ghz with stock cooler during pre testing with stock cooler.

Did you mess with tjmax settings in the app?

Obviously you didn't read everything I wrote. I said as far as the OPs post goes, he needs to look into what is causing the high temps. He probably doesn't have it seated correctly if the pump is working.
