The replacement is coming but not soon enough. I can't stand my old Trinitron.

Anybody else have the following problem: Screen suddenly turns greenish, wavy lines start appearing, text becomes almost indecipherably blurred... I thought i needed a degausing but LCD's don't have degauss...

 
That sounds quite strange - never heard of such a problem on an LCD. I'd be interested to hear what could cause such a thing if anyone knows, though.
 
Nope, has nothing to do with connections or video cards. I have it running in self test mode and the stuff is still there. All cables are dissconnected besides power.
